Today's duelist leaue went rather well. Today I managed to obtain an UR Guardian Sphinx and a SR Rare Phoenix Feather and an UTR Phoenix Wing Wind Blast. The alterations I made to my D-Hero deck worked... or rather they didn't make any situaitions worse. The NDS browser came in handy when trying to solve a rulings dispute that an aquaintance and I have been having for a couple weeks. Next week, I might try a phoenix deck as my experimental one. For sure, it will need a lot of tweaking, but I'm confident in its chances.

Right now I'm updating from the NDS browser and I thought I'd give my impressions of its performance.
For LJ updating its actually pretty good but its biggest drawback is that browsing is a bit slow and this browser can't play video or sound, not even youtube. But for on the go browsing where a laptop would be too cumbersome, this is definitely what gets some of the job done.

Ok, where do I start off first. Oh right, got accepted into WSU, so yay for me! Secondly, I'm at 199.9 lbs as of this morning, again, yay! Although, just like an hour ago or so, my dad found something under the water heater. We live in a motel, and it has had quite a few previous owners, and I'm sure it belongs to one of them. Its a sword. o.o;; Mrew, I'm not kidding, its a freakin sword. Here, let me provide a picture.

This morning's weight was 202.8 lbs. Took a long time just to drop a pound, didn't it? Well, I was slacking and the 20th was my birthday, so that did a bit of damage, but I'm happy to say I'm back on track.

This morning I weighed 203.9 lbs., just a small loss, but it gets me ever closer to getting below the 200 lb mark. So yay. ^^

Ok, got a new sketch and I found out how to put them in my LJ now. So here goes.

This morning I weighed in at 204.6 lbs. Mrew, seems like everything is going just fine. I'll post that artwork a bit later today, promise. ^^; *hugs all*

Just a short update but a sweet one, my weight as of this morning is 213lbs, meaning I lost 2 pounds already. Mrew, in my opinion, thats a little, but its still awesome with only 8 or 9 days of work. Mrew, and its a hell of a lot of work. Each time I make a point of doing 25 minutes on the treadmill and 25 minutes on the orbitrek looking thing, and thats on top of time at the weight lifting machines until the targeted muscles ache too much, and 13 minutes on either a bike, or as I did today, the stair climbing machine. So an hour or two at the gym every day. I'm sure with about two or three months of work I can get my weight below 200. Another two months afterwards should start knocking it below 190. This time, I don't intend to let up or quit or let myself go. That's it for now, mew, I might be posting some artwork here tomorrow hopefully, it isn't that good, but I'm sure I'll get better.

Ok, mew, now I know its been a long fucking while since I've updated but I've been busy. Seriously, between working on a few projects and the job and video games, LJ just didn't rank high on my list of priorities. Well, now that is out of the way, lets get down to business.

New Years Resolutions! Mew, basically its the usual, loose weight, get into college, try not to spend as much time playing video games. Although, one of those is actually getting some success. As of the begining of the year I've been going to the gym and actually getting my fat ass on a treadmill. It will take a while, but I'm sure it will eventually come off. Mew, and thankfully it won't boring thanks to the iPod I got for christmas and a few 2Sense shows, rants, and various music and comedy audio files given to me by friends. My current weight is 215 and my end goal is at least 180 or lower.

In the meantime, I'll keep working on those projects and perhaps I'll eventually have one posted either here or on my DA page. See you all next time.

To everyone I've talked to the last few days, let me just say that I'm feeling better now, emotionally that is. Mrowl, unfortunately, I caught a cold, so I might be a little slower typing than usual, and have bouts of zoning out. Meh, oh well... I'm still pretty excited about the Death Note live action movie, and I'm having fun watching the anime as well. I mean, it does pose the ulitmate questions of what is really good and evil. Also, they did the death scenes quite well in my opinion. Mrowl, well anyway, I'll try to build up readership to my journal here, by posting some more interesting stuff. Maybe I can get someone outside my circle of friends to read this. :P Well anyway, I might be posting something soon thats gonna be pretty important, at least to me. Its been something I've been thinking of for a long time now.. mrowl, but why ruin the surprize. You'll see when I post it. Until then, seeya.

Battle with maintaining and loosing weight: Failed, but I'm no cop out that will blame it on the food. This is my own damm fault and I'm not afraid to admit it.
Status of relationships: Failed... with both, only myself to blame. x.x;
Getting into the University of Washington: Failed.
Maintaining sanity and recovering emotionally from all of this: Succeded... to a point of course ^^;
Maintaining anger at the world for having fucked up people in it: Oh yeah... mrowl, you hear about these grown-up people shooting up schools and molesting the girls? We need some serious cleansing of these assholes from the world. Oh, and don't get me started on all the other fucked up stuff in the news... oh well, I gots my anime and cards to keep me from going berserk... and the new Elder Scrolls game, Oblivion. ^^

Oh, my battle with my weight, failed. I'm trying again, but its gonna be hard. Well, at least things seem to be going well at the moment. Oh, and also things between Ryoku and I are good as well too. Mrow, but she needs a job quick otherwise she's in trouble... I have faith that she will find one though.

Sorry I've been ignoring this journal for a long while, but now I want to keep up a regular routine of updating my journal at least once a day. So what has happened between last time and today? Well first off, I've met Chrissy [AKA Ryoku] IRL. ^^ *jumps up in joy* We've gone to the duelist leauge together twice and last friday she came over and we had some fun... no, not that kind of fun, pervs. x3 All we did was talk for a bit, cuddle/huggle, kiss, watch some Yu-Gi-Oh GX and I gave her a massage. She was blushing and giggling a bit when I took her socks off and kissed her feet. Mrow, hopefully she can get a job so she can come back on the internet. She says its boring just being at home all day with nothing to do. Oh, I'll be visiting her tomorrow and we'll go out to do some stuff and then she'll be coming by friday hopefully and we'll watch a movie (seeing as I can't leave the motel). I managed to find a way to connect the laptop to the surround sound so now I can watch my PC movies on the big screen. ^^ So I'm thinking of downloading Silent Hill, cause you know that horror movies are the best movies to show on a date. :3 Mrow, I could show porn too, but that would be tasteless. :P Ok, and now lets talk about my weight loss, my goal is to get below 200 before June 1st. Right now I'm at 211 or so and I'll be updating the blog with my progress daily and confess any... indulgences. I feel that this would help me out a lot. Sorry for not updating for so long, but I've been extremely busy with college this week. Its a new quarter and that means new classes. My classes are: Circuit Weight Training, Microbiology, Human Sexuality, and Drawing 3 (Which is 3 fucking hours long!). Well anyway, its been pretty damm stressful. Well, mrow, I was at least able to get in some "experimentation" in. *wink* Oh, for the next two weeks my friend Vyren from furc is gonna be away for two weeks while she's in florada. You can see her blog at http://living-phantasm.livejournal.com Mrow, also, I'm very excited for a certian event that happens on April 4th (My furcadian sister, Ryoku, is moving close to where I live, so I finally get to meet her! Yay!!!) as well as looking forward to a releaxed weekend. We had a very interesting discussion in human sexuality class today about the history of sexuality in certian areas of the world. To say that I was distrubed by what I heard, would be an understatement. As history progressed further and further women were being treated worse and worse in a lot of cases. Religon played a major role in this chain of events and in a lot of cases it still does. *sighs* I swear, idiocy must be extremely deeply coded in human DNA, can they not see whats going on?! *shakes his head* Anyway... enough of that... guh, I'm just fucking sick of stuff like this. I swear, give me a time machine so I can go back and kill some bastards. St. Paul and St. Augustine are on my list, as well as a lot of other scum that I'd love to wipe out...

Miguel Mendoza: Actually, none of them were religious, I believe.
Angelis Black: Even so, one must not shut down his/her mind when thought and logic challenge a belief.
Miguel Mendoza: But proving religion to either be a paradox or a hypocrisy is phenominal to society itself, and even the nonreligious often have to argue for it, simply because it's accepted, and shattering it all at once would have literally unimaginable effects.
Miguel Mendoza: Here, let me post the leap of logic I posed earlier....

Miguel Mendoza: I have a debate with a religious person that's left unsolved. He claimed that God knows everything that will happen before it takes place, because he was written events of all the future ahead of time. On the other hand, people of that faith also claim that we have free will. The only catch is, we are free to do what we want, but it's going to happen anyway, so what we want to do is the same as what He wants. But is that free will? And what of the people who die young? Why does one create a new being only to have it be destroyed before any real purpose is fulfilled? He said God decided that an early death was indeed the plan, no matter how seemingly pointless. But what of murder victrims? What it the plan for them to be murdered? And if so, should the murderer not be rewarded for doing God's work?
Miguel Mendoza: I've heard a philosophy that ordering a killing is no better than performing one. Knowing that, then the ideas I've just presented would submit that not only are murderers saints, but that God is a murderer.
Angelis Black: Oooh... now that is definitely a belief shattering post. I'm in awe of your use of logic, dear brother.
Miguel Mendoza: You're in college with a logics class, it can't be that incredible.
Angelis Black: Oh, but the logic class is more technique than application. When it is applied like that... its a beautiful thing.
Miguel Mendoza: This isn't convoluted or obscure in any way. God make people kill, people kill for God. God is a killer, or at best, the equivalent of someone placing hits out on people, and the ones performing those hits are saints for doing what God tells them.
Miguel Mendoza: If God does not allow us to live out our natural lives, then he murders us. If he does not have a hand in ending lives, then he does not write existence before it happens.

Angelis Black: Also, seeing as holy books says that he did, that means that they are wrong, and everything "god" supposedly said in there also isn't true.
Miguel Mendoza: The holy books are not necessarily wrong. Perhaps he does control everything. But if so, and if he can take lives without reason, then he should be feared rather than worshipped, and not only that, but if everything we do is God's plan, then what is to stop the world from turning to anarchy? Anyone could do anything and claim it was God's will.

Angelis Black: Thats what they're doing now though... look at Iraq, look at the muslim terrorists, the abortion clinic bombers, and everything like that. People are doing 'gods will' everywhere.
Miguel Mendoza: People die young, become diseased, live without the basic necessities of life, the world as a whole is not a perfect place, and if there is someone controlling it all, they would take much better care of their creation. Even seven days is too long to spend on something that you're just going to destroy anyway.

Miguel Mendoza: They are punished, often killed, for having another religion. But if God created them, and wrote their lives, then he wanted them to be that way.

Angelis Black nods. "Plus, this also means that he had the chance to set people straight on what he wanted them to do, I mean, exactly how to worship and stuff. If he exists, there should only be one religon right?"
Miguel Mendoza: If people have different religions, then by religious logic, they are supposed to, and of they worship God, they would actually be disobeying him.
Angelis Black nods. "I didn't think of that..."
Miguel Mendoza: You cannot ever claim that someone is disobeying God, if at the same time you say that God controls and knows everything. It's impossible. To say so is to contradict yourself in a single breath. In order to disobey, you must have the free will to do so.
Miguel Mendoza: To say otherwise, that would be the same as claiming to be able to walk without legs.
Angelis Black: Well, some people can you know...
Angelis Black: On CNN there was this one parapalegic that could 'walk' in a way.
Angelis Black: not parapalegic, I mean he had all his limbs amputated.
Miguel Mendoza: They can't. Without legs, you can't walk. It doesn't matter if those legs are flesh or metal, if you do not have limbs coming from your hips to support you, all you can do is slide on your $!?.
Angelis Black: Yeah, I see your point, and you're definitely right... I just cannot see how people can still believe this stuff in this day and age.
Miguel Mendoza: You can't walk 'in a way' without the legs to perform the action anymore than you can disobey someone 'in a way' without even having the ability to do anything other than what God wants.
Miguel Mendoza: If His will is all we are capable of performing, then no one should be punished for having another religion, because obviously it's what God wants.
Miguel Mendoza: What about the Ten Commandments? God actually told everyone what he wanted them to do. If he was in control, would he have to voice the rules?
Angelis Black nods. "Exactly."
Miguel Mendoza: Thou shalt not kill. God said no killing. And supposedly if that's what he wanted, it would happen. But it didn't.
Miguel Mendoza: And if everything we did was God's will, there would be no Hell, because he could not punish us for things he forced us to do.
Angelis Black: Yes, and god also said that homosexuality was bad, but if he didn't want it, why does it exist?
Angelis Black: and yeah, he can't possibly punish us for stuff he forced us to do.
Miguel Mendoza: Either because he willed it to exist, or because he doesn't control anything.
Angelis Black: and if he wanted mindless obiedience, we wouldn't be having this conversation right now would we?
Miguel Mendoza: A religious person would argue that he wanted us to say these things.
Angelis Black: Ah, so we drown in our own 'heaten sinful thoughts'?
Angelis Black: *heathen
Miguel Mendoza: We're not heathens. We're doing God's will without ever thinking about it, or so we're told. We must go to heaven, because our every action is his will, and thus we are devout followers.
Angelis Black: So if I go out my bedroom door and start murdering and $!?%&* my motel guests, then its his will and I'm just doing what I'm supposed to do? O.o;;
Miguel Mendoza: If he forces only some to "choose" to follow him, going to church and the like, then forces the others to "choose" not to, then he's forcing some people to do things that will send them to hell. So not only does absolute power make God a murderer, but a torturer too.
Angelis Black: Either that, or some humans are "stronger" and can resist his control?
Angelis Black: However, its hard to belive that a being that can create an entire universe can't control a bunch of "lower creatures"
Miguel Mendoza: No one will accept that their God is those things. Frankly, I can't believe it either. Yes, evil does exist, most likely even in God's supposed realm, but to create things only to ravage them needlessly is just utterly stupid, and an omnipotent being is above that sort of "burning ants with a magnifying glass" behaviour. If God exists, then he is the creator and little else, because there is too much against the idea of him being in control of everything.
Angelis Black: Indeed, also picture this situation. What if aliens land on Earth? I mean, obviously either they'd have different religons and/or be non-religous, what then?
Angelis Black: I mean, god is probably looking over more than just our planet, theres a whole universe of suffering going on.
Miguel Mendoza: Perhaps he did have control during supposed times such as the Age of Miracles or the events of the Bible (though a centuries-old book of 50th-hand information about millenia-old events translated through several laguages, is not a reliable reference), but he's long since given up that control.
Angelis Black: Its a fact... no one gives up power or control once they have it... at least not willingly. Not even a higher being is immune to corruption.
Miguel Mendoza: So you're saying he still has that control? I thought we were arguing against that...

Miguel Mendoza: Miracles are divine intervention in mortal matters. Even the death and damnnation of a person deemed deserving could be considered a miracle if God did the killing, or willed it, as it would presently be. In any case, I didn't mean that God has given up his control, but he has long since stopped exercising it.

Well anyway, the events for today. Lets see, started out miserably with me getting a ton of phone calls while I was in the shower, and then a problem with one of our guests, and then a reservation cancellation. *sighs* Well, on a postive note, I was able to get some trimming done in some sensitive places. *winks* Oh, also I'm doing the laundry and stuffs as well today. Mrow, on another note I watched episode 77 of Yu-Gi-Oh GX (Japanese version of course) and the duel was so-so in my opinion... I can't wait for the Judai/Edo tag team duel coming up. ^^ I'll keep ya informed on whatever else comes along, ja ne!
